About Us
  • Owner Dr. Julie Koirtyohann, PT, DPT founded  ReYou Therapy, LLC to be able to deeply personalize therapeutic interventions with her patients. Every person is a unique individual from the smallest cell to the entire ecosystem of the whole person. The human brain and body must work together to create an efficient ecosystem, which will protect the most vital structures with priority, hence why pain has a purpose. These realizations guided Julie into specialized manual therapy techniques including: Barral institute visceral mobilization(I,II,IV, LT1), John Barnes myofascial release, Jones Institute strain-counter strain, Upledger Institute Craniosacral, lymphatic system techniques, IAMT dry needling certifications (level 1 & 2), and muscle energy techniques (MET 1&2). Utilizing these manual therapy techniques allows her to “listen” through her hands and feel what type of structure she is on including fascia, vessels, muscles, ligaments, organs, and determine which organ or tissue may require some guidance. Each unique treatment session guides your body closer to reducing pain, discovering the underlying cause, and returning to your desired activities. Healing has many facets, and we are willing to help each person engage in physical, nutritional, emotional, and personalized holistic treatment plans.  ReYou Therapy also offers holistic nutritional advice or supplement suggestions as fitting per individual to progress your overall vitality.

60 minute evaluation: $120.00

The physical therapist will review your health history, establish patient oriented goals, provide a comprehensive movement assessment, assess which manual techniques will be the most beneficial, and implement a home exercise program to address impairments discovered during the evaluation.

Treatment session

Therapy treatment sessions will always vary based on patient preference and tolerance. The therapist may provide a variety of hands-on therapy techniques including: visceral manipulation, dry needling, myofascial release techniques, lymphatic mobility, or muscle energy techniques. Your therapist will progress exercises as tolerated to improve mobility, strength, and functional mobility, which helps your body re-learn how to move after the therapy interventions. 60 minutes: $120.00 45 minutes: $90.00 30 minutes: $60.00

Dry needling session

Dry needling is a technique using needles to stimulate trigger points to release myofascial pain and muscle tension. Dry needling can be completed with or without electrical stimulation to help improve muscle relaxation and reduce pain. 30 minute treatment: $60.00

Post pardum C-section treatment

The therapist is able to provide specific scar tissue mobility at the different tissue and organ layers. This reduces fascia restrictions that may adhere to other body structures, normalizes organ motility and mobility to improve spine and body movements, and improves abdominal muscle proprioception and muscle awareness. Recommend at least 6 weeks post surgery prior to starting manual therapy or per physician discretion. Typically, less than 4 sessions needed. 60 minutes: $120.00 45 minutes: $90.00 30 minutes: $60.00

Wellness session

Wellness sessions have a variety of purposes. Examples such as guided breath work, nutritional information with focus on cellular and gut health, stress management with nervous system regulation, bodywork, and root cause mentality with guidance on supplements using applied kinesiology or muscle testing. Wellness visits provide opportunity to progress exercises to promote health and wellness. Wellness visits are a great option for maintaining the body in a balanced state. 60 minutes: $120.00 45 minutes: $90.00 30 minutes: $60.00

Do you need a referral?

In the state of Missouri, a physician referral is not required to initial physical therapy. If subsequent physical therapy visits are required beyond 30 days, ReYou therapy will fax a prescription with a detailed evaluation to a provider of your choice. If you are seeking coverage from your insurance you will likely need a referral from an approved healthcare provider: physician, surgeon, chiropractor, dentist, nurse practitioner, or podiatrist.

Does ReYou Therapy accept my insurance?

ReYou Therapy believes in quality over quantity. We want to dedicate our time and attention to You, therefore we do not directly bill your insurance. Research suggests cash-based therapy practices have higher patient outcomes and faster recovery times (less visits) due to the therapist’s ability to spend more one-on-one time with patients to tailor treatments to patient needs instead of being limited by insurance documentation time and insurance restrictions. ReYou Therapy can supply you a “super bill” upon request, which you will be able to submit to your insurance and potentially receive reimbursement depending on your out-of-network coverage. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask what your out-of-network coverage is for physical therapy and how you submit for reimbursement. Some insurances are simple and have an online process or fax, while others have forms. There are no hidden costs and payment is due at time of service. ReYou Therapy does accept FSA/HSA payments.

What is the difference between Physical Therapy and Wellness visits?

Physical therapy visits are aimed at a specific injury or pain that is limiting your daily functional activities. Interventions include: restoring range of motion, strength, manual therapy techniques, gait training, or neurological re-education. Wellness sessions focus on maintaining or improving physical and mental health through lifestyle choices and preventative measures. Wellness sessions provide a chance for “tune ups” to keep on track with your health goals and physical mobility goals throughout the year. Once your initially injury has subsided, wellness is a great option to prevent injuries and keep progressing.
